EFToolkit
EFToolkit is a Windows component for processing batch Credit Card, Check Card, Checking and Savings Transactions over the Internet. EFToolkit provides instant e-commerce capabilities to web-sites or client/server applications. EFToolkit submits transactions directly to the EFTechnologies Processing Center. EFToolkit encrypts credit card and personal information. EFToolkit was designed for Microsoft Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. EFToolkit uses SSL-encrypted, non-anonymous HTTP to communicate to the EFTechnologies Processing Center. EFToolkit provides strong encryption (128-bit long cypher keys) support. Implementation and Operation The following is a sample Credit Card - Checking/Savings process using EFToolkit. Click on an area of the flowchart to discover more. Step 1: Website, Client-Server or Desktop Application EFToolkit is integrated in the Website, Client-Server or Desktop Application. This application captures Credit Card and Checking/Savings Account Information and Transaction Amounts. This information is passed to EFToolkit. Step 2: EFToolkit EFToolkit accepts the Transaction Data from the application. This information is directed over a secure Internet connection to the EFTechnologies Processing Center. Authorization response times are dependent upon batch type and size. Step 3: The Internet The Internet is the transport medium for all EFToolkit operations. Data transfers are encrypted, making it impossible for unauthorized parties to intercept sensitive information. EFToolkit is based on industry standard, open protocols and uses strong encryption. Step 4: EFTechnologies Processing Center EFTookit submits all transactions to the EFTechnologies Processing Center. EFTechnologies forwards all transactions to the appropriate processing center. EFTechnologies is a merchant service provider for NOVA and All-First Bank. These relationships permit EFTechnologies to register merchants for Credit Card and Checking/Savings Processing. Step 5: Credit Card Network & ACH Network The Credit Card and ACH Networks authorize transactions and return information back to the EFTechnologies Processing Center
