Development Platform Requirements

Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

A Windows development language that supports COM or OLE Automation, such as Visual C++, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Active Server Pages (ASP), and VBScript. Other development environments, including Delphi, Visual J++, and PowerBuilder may also be used.

Run-Time Requirements

Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher

For strong encryption, 128-bit version of Internet Explorer must be installed. It can be downloaded from Microsoft's website

SSL-capable TCP/IP stack

HTTP-capable Internet connection (dial-up, ISDN, xDSL or LAN). EFToolkit works with transport- or network-level proxies (SOCKS 4/5, Winsock proxy, IP Masquerading). EFToolkit will also work with HTTP proxies, but at a slightly reduced level of security.
AOL is not supported.
