EFToolkit Specifications

EFToolkit is an ActiveX component. EFToolkit provides access to NOVA's credit card network and the ACH network. All objects support dual interfaces. EFToolkit can be used effectively in both COM (VC++) and Automation (VB) environments.

EFToolkit does not store data. I/O information is the container application's responsibility. EFToolkit does not store data in the registry.

EFToolkit uses WinInet API to perform Internet requests. EFToolkit requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher. EFToolkit can operate in Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000.

All EFToolkit Internet operations are performed using an SSL channel; cypher key length can be 40 or 128 bits depending on the version of Internet Explorer used.

EFToolkit inherits proxy settings from Internet Explorer.
