EFTechnologies, Inc., a national provider of web-based technology serving member based organizations, today announces an alliance with Parish Data Systems. EFTechnologies, Inc. will provide Parish Data Systems needed technology which once imbedded will allow churches to initiate the collection of contributions via electronic means.
Church members can now sign up to have their weekly offerings, typically collected during the service, either charged directly to their checking/savings account or charged to their credit card. The parishes benefit in a lowered cost of collection for envelopes, manual processing, bank charges and benefit from faster accessibility of funds. Probably the single greatest benefit for the church is that it not will not miss member donations when they are ill or on vacation which typically happens five times per year.
